Check the axis selection rotary switch on the drive unit to confirm the unused axis is intentionally set to "F" (free axis). Also, check the NC monitor for alarms on the active axis of the same unit (such as Alarm 32 Overcurrent or Alarm 3B Overheat) that may be causing Alarm 26 on the free axis.
