The 'PRT/AFL change not possible: channel not reset' message indicates an attempt to change the Program Test (PRT) or Auxiliary Function Lock (AFL) mode while the NC channel is active or interrupted. Please press the 'RESET' key on the Machine Control Panel (MCP) to reset the NC channel, and then try changing the PRT or AFL function again.
